You Can Be!

FIRST

(You must understand)

GOD LOVES YOU

You may already know that God loves you. The Bible teaches that He loves you so much He sent Jesus to die for you.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have

eternal life. (John 3:16)

God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

SECOND

(You must understand)

SALVATION IS A GIFT

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

Some think they become Christians by joining the church.

Some think they will go to heaven if they do good works.

God does not make us deserve our salvation.

IT IS A GIFT.

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

THIRD
(You must understand)

YOU CAN BE SAVED NOW

You do not have to be in church to become a Christian. Think about this verse.

If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9).

Since that is true, you must do two things to be saved.

You must believe in your heart God raised Jesus from the dead. Do you believe that?

You must confess Jesus as Lord. Of course, that means you must first make Him Lord in your heart.

NOW

(You must act)

A SUGGESTED PRAYER

Just praying will not save anyone. But if you will pray this prayer from your heart, the Lord will come into your life right now.

Dear God, I know I have sinned. I need to be forgiven of my sins. I know that Jesus died for my sins on the cross. I know you raised Him from the dead. Right now I receive Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior. I trust only Jesus for my salvation.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God, even to those who believe in His name. (John 1:12)
